.The nutritional importance of dandelion from a medical point of view lies in its high content of bitter principles (taraxacin, eudesmanolides), triterpenes, flavonoids, xanthophylls, carotenoids, vitamin B2 and C as well as potassium. The root is particularly rich in inulin in autumn (40%). Dandelion acts as a bitter drug with a mild choleretic, diuretic and appetite-stimulating action, and as an adjuvant in liver diseases, cholecystopathies and digestion disorders, especially when there is poor digestion of fats.

Recommended use

1. Heat the water

2. Place in teapot (or in an inner filter with a hole <0.4 mm)

3. One teaspoon of tea per cup and one teaspoon per pot

4. Pour boiling water into the teapot

5. Leave to steep for 2 to 4 minutes
