Recipe

Amaranth Flake and Banana Energy Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of amaranth flakes
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A handful of chocolate chips or nuts (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Mash the bananas until smooth.
  2. Mix with the amaranth flakes, cinnamon and peanut butter.
  3. Add chocolate chips or nuts if desired.
  4. Shape the dough into small cookies and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  5. Bake at 180 ºC for 12-15 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool and enjoy a healthy snack with no added sugar!
